Finishing Up

My father is currently travelling southeast to New Orleans, LA. He is almost finished repairing my grandmother's home located in that city. In August her home was flooded with three feet of water due to Hurricane Katrina. For the past five months, Grams has been living with us in Fort Worth. Now it seems she will be able to move back into her condo. We are glad to have this project coming to a close. I think Dad did quite well repairing her house in five months at a distance of over 500 miles - especially considering all of the unusual difficulties that were encounted working in New Orleans (shortage of labor, lack of electricity and infrastructure, etc.) Of course, Dad is a general contractor, so it makes sense that he would be good at remodeling houses :) Looking forward to your return Dad!
